Your analysis is spot-on. I've tried several approaches here with mixed results, and your approach gives me a clear path forward. This is going into my playbook immediately.
Sorry to go on but let me use some examples like you did with knitwear.
Let's say the task is to do a marketing plan for the next 6 months. 46 year old marketing manager uses a research templates does their own research and then makes a plan out of her own template there used for years. Asks Ai to improve it.
22 year old "Hey Gemini, do me a marketing plan for this"
The former is so much better every time. Every time and doesn't need editing.
I feel like im always seeing the same boring advice on my feed. I publish 4 times a week, which I hope is not too much. I mix in personal stuff with the AI tools and behind the scenes.
This is your official notice that I've now absorbed "chissakes" into my daily vernacular.
Enjoy! It's also served me well...

"Mixed results" usually means one of two things: either the approach was wrong, or the approach was right but not yet yours.
The second one's trickier. Because it feels like failure when it's actually calibration.
This is a great way to look at it. If AI could write it without a human involved, it’s not really valuable anymore. 🩷🦩
Your writing is spot on, cracks me up every time!😄
Ha, glad it lands. And you nailed the summary: if AI could write it alone, why would anyone need you?
I see many 22 year old founders, life coaches and freelancers online you'd think it WAS that easy.
The 22-year-old life coach phenomenon is wild. Credentials by assertion, expertise by aesthetic.
The thought leader era is winding down. People want to see the receipts.

As you were.
The 46-year-old brought receipts. The 22-year-old brought a prompt they found on reddit.
That's why the output is different. AI can only amplify what's already there.
I feel like im always seeing the same boring advice on my feed. I publish 4 times a week, which I hope is not too much. I mix in personal stuff with the AI tools and behind the scenes.
The boring advice flood is real. Everyone's recycling the same ten takes with slightly different formatting.
Mixing personal with AI is how you break from that. The personal is what AI can't generate. That's your edge.
It will make all the difference here.
Thoughts about “opinions” coming from a lived trough experience and expertise? Does it count as “research”? :)
It took me about 13 months to get a weighted stance on AI.
Lived experience IS research. Just not the kind that tends to come with citations.
13 months to form a weighted stance? That's the opposite of hot takes. That's the work.
