Love this. red team AI is one of the absolute top use cases in so many domains. Excellent stuff!

Nice, Nick. Yep. Swiping your Red Team prompt to use on my next draft. If for no other reason but to save me from another AI assessment that reads something like... "This is great. Are gou related to Hemingway? I do suggest a few minor polishes - so I can add in some em dashes, begin a sentence with "Most people...", and insert a "quiet" and "quietly" in there. Once we've done that would you like me to show you how to build a rocket ship in your backyard so you can launch it bound for Mars?"

This takes the “no cheerleading” AI admonition to the next level. The frenemy level. Complete with brutal honesty. Love it.

Not to mention it’s hard to cut the dead weight without a push.

Oh and the only way to objectively re-read your drafts is let them breathe. That takes at least 24 hours. Sometime you don’t have 24 hours.

This is a great idea! And about your question... it depends on the situation (and sometimes, other factors) but I usually polish everything I write before I hit send. How about you?
